Paper Necklaces is a site to sell necklaces made by HIV positive women in Kampala, Uganda.
The story of these women is amazing and all the funds raised will all go directly to a local Rotary Club in Uganda to further assist the women and their village.
The site was originally conceived with hopes to sell 500 necklaces during the Christmas shopping season. We created a site to promote the necklace sales and managed to sell out of the necklaces in 2 weeks! Another shipment arrived just in time to fill additional orders.
The necklace sales raised over $6,500 for the Rotary projects in just a few weeks and because of the success of the project there are plans in the works to extend this fundraiser.
