Welcome to my photo blog - a collection of photos of our environment as seen from the eyes of Mark Haak. The photos are snapshots of people, places and things I come across in my daily travels. This photoblog is just a personal project where I try to do something useful with all the photos I take. I try to post a photo (almost) every week day and I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoy taking them.

About the Photos:::

Most of these photos are taken around southern Ontario - near our home in Waterdown, at work in Toronto or while travelling around the world. Lately I have been shooting with the following gear:
Canon 40D
Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM
Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM
Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM
Speedlite 430EX
Macbook Pro
Aperture
Adobe CS3

Any photos taken before January 2008 are most likely from a first generation Canon Digital Rebel, or you may even find the occasional old shot from a Canon EFM (film). Yes, I've always been a fan of Canon for still photography.

About Me:::
